Rising unemployment, an increasee numbers of individuals with little or no insurancse and a growing percentage of the population on Medicaid further rampup medical-cosyt trends — the figures actuaries use to set future health-insurance premiums.
Employers surveyed by PricewaterhouseCoopers said they will push more of the costsd of health insurance to their workerain 2010. Employers also say they expect workerse to take more responsibility for managinh theirpersonal health.
